I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. The Site and all of its content, including my books, artwork, writing, videos, training descriptions, and any free or paid resources, are provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
The content on the Site is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Reading my books, viewing the Site, attending a training, or otherwise engaging with my content does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, or any other professional treatment relationship between you and me.
Any clinical or counseling services I may provide are offered only under a separate written agreement and informed consent process, and are subject to applicable professional and legal standards. Nothing on the Site should be understood as an offer to provide such services.

I created all of the training curriculum referenced on the Site. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise use my content for commercial purposes without my prior written permission. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you do not remove any copyright or ownership notices.
The names, titles, and branding associated with my books, art, and training, including Be You and Collaboration Over Contradiction, may be protected marks and may not be used without permission.
If you purchase products through the Site:
Much of my artwork is handmade from repurposed and one-of-a-kind materials. As a result, each piece is unique, and there will be natural variations in color, texture, size, and finish. Slight imperfections are part of the nature of the work and are not defects. Images on the Site are representative, and the piece you receive may vary slightly from what is shown.
All sales are final. Books and original artwork are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund based on a change of mind. Because my artwork is handmade and one-of-a-kind, each piece is final sale.
The only exception is items that arrive damaged or defective. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 5 days of delivery, include a description and photographs of the damage, and I will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item. I may ask you to return the item, and in cases of confirmed damage or defect, I will cover return shipping.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact me using the information below and I will work with you to resolve it.
Information on the Site about trauma-informed trainings and professional development is provided for general reference. Specific trainings, including those I facilitate together with a lived-experience partner through Collaboration Over Contradiction, are arranged under separate agreements that set out scope, fees, scheduling, cancellation, and other terms. Nothing on the Site is a binding offer to provide training services, and all details are subject to a separate written agreement.

You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.
