About

I didn’t become a therapist because I had it all figured out. I became one because I’ve always been curious about people. What shapes us. What wounds us. What helps us heal. And what finally lets us feel like ourselves.

I am a therapist, trainer, curriculum developer, writer, and fiber artist. Those things are not as separate as they might sound. They all come from the same place: a deep belief that human beings make sense, that connection is what heals us, and that the most meaningful work happens when we show up honestly.

I have spent over 25 years working with people navigating some of the hardest things life hands us. Youth who have been let down by systems that were supposed to protect them. Families trying to find their way back to each other. Adults carrying things they have never had words for. Professionals doing deeply demanding relational work, often without enough support.

I have designed and led trauma-informed programs across schools, community organizations, and justice-involved settings. I developed a peer support specialist certification program because I believe sustainable care has to be built from within communities, not delivered from outside them.

When I am not in the therapy room or the training room, you will find me with a needle and thread, stitching figures from repurposed fabric, or writing, or both at the same time somehow. My books and my art come from the same place my therapy does. A belief that honesty matters, that the messy parts of us are worth looking at, and that people deserve to feel like themselves.

I am glad you are here.
